Tacoma Astronomical Society Student Meetings
We are very excited about this year's program and we think you are going to be too. The Tacoma Astronomical Society Student Club has special events including; field trips, star watches and parties planned along with our regular monthly meetings.
The Student Meetings have regularly scheduled topics and time slots set aside for activities such as; studying the constellations, learning about our solar system and galaxies, how to use telescopes, and current events and deep sky objects.
Student Meetings are held on the fourth Friday of each month (check the schedule below for holiday exceptions) in the Rainier Building of Pierce College Ft Steilacoom at 7:00 pm unless otherwise posted. Student Observing Nights are held weather permitting also at Pierce College meeting first in the classroom then in the parking lot for observing.
