Come join TAS volunteers for *free* public observing nights at PLU! Enjoy the opportunity to tour the night sky with a variety of telescopes and the main telescope in the W.M. Keck Observatory. Workshops and/or lectures, in foul weather, may be available. Watch here for updates.
Come before dark to tour the facility and watch telescopes being set up; observing begins after dark.

Directions to the W.M. Keck Observatory
10th Ave S and 124th St S Tacoma, WA
At Pacific Lutheran University
From Interstate 5 (North or South)
- Take exit 127 off Interstate 5 and head east on Highway 512
- Continue on 512 for approximately two miles
- Take the WA-7/Pacific Ave exit.
- Turn right on Pacific Avenue S.
- Turn right on Garfield St.
- Turn left on Park Ave.
- Turn right on 125 St.
- Turn right on Yakima Ave (at the golf course)
- Follow Yakima as it bends left (now 124th St). The W.M. Keck Observatory entrance is immediately after the baseball diamond.
- Parking is on the right in the Olson Parking lot in the spaces closest to 124th or on the street. Please obey all parking signs.
