Welcome to the Tacoma Astronomical Society -

                        "Fostering learning, understanding and sharing the wonder of Astronomy in Tacoma since 1931"

The Tacoma Astronomical Society Annual Astronomy Fair is our main event of the year. Between midday and midnight we host games, presentations, lectures and much more. During the day telescopes are setup for solar viewing and during the night we observe the stars, planets, nebulae, galaxies and so much more. The Astronomy Fair is a family event that makes learning fun and exciting.

Our next Astronomy Fair is scheduled for August each year. Look for the notice on the home page and in the local media shortly before the event occurs.
